Stephan Beckenbauer

Stephan Beckenbauer ( born December 1, 1968 in Munich ) is a former German football player and coach.

Career

As a player

His career began in the footballer Franz Beckenbauer's son in the amateur team of FC Bayern Munich, at their pros his father celebrated the greatest success. In addition, he was also the senior squad, but did not play. Later, the defender moved to local rivals TSV 1860 Munich in the Bavarian League. In the years 1990 and 1991, he completed some inserts for Kickers Offenbach in the Oberliga Hessen. 1994 Beckenbauer returned back to the amateurs from FC Bayern for which he completed 22 games in three years. A serious knee injury forced him to end his football career at the age of 29 years.

As a coach

2001 and 2007 won Beckenbauer with him trained (since 1999) B- youth teams of FC Bayern Munich, the German championship.
