Stéphane Pompougnac

Stéphane Pompougnac ( * 1968 in Paris ) is a French House DJ, musician, composer and music producer. He gained international fame mainly by the Hôtel Costes series - a compilation put together by him in the down-tempo style.

Biography

Pompougnac was born in Paris in 1968. However, his childhood and youth were spent in Bordeaux. At the age of 18 he started in different clubs in Bordeaux hang as a DJ. After his studies, he first spent six months in London before returning to Paris in 1992. There he lay in clubs such as Queen, Privilege and Diable des Lombards. Eventually, he became a regular DJ at Les Bains Douches. There learned Pompougnac 1997 then know Jean -Louis Costes, one of the owners of the Hôtel Costes. Costes Pompougnac made ​​the offer to work for him as a DJ.

Pompougnac 1999 published his first music compilation entitled Hôtel Costes, thus laying the foundation stone for the same series, with the Pompougnac has since been internationally successful. Pompougnac also supplied the music for various fashion shows by Gucci and Yves Saint -Laurent, as well as various compilation for eg Perrier.

In 2003, he released his first self-produced album entitled Living on the Edge
