Stephen Peace

J. Stephen Peace, Steve Peace ( born March 30, 1953 in San Diego, California) is an American politician, actor, screenwriter and film producer.

Life

Peace attended Bonita Vista High School in Chula Vista, then he studied political science at the University of California at San Diego. In 1973 he married his classmate Cheryl. After finishing his studies, he worked on the B-movie Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. He composed several tracks for the soundtrack, played one of the lead roles and was one of the producers and screenwriters. Although the parody of the science-fiction and horror genre received scathing reviews, but has evolved over the years into a cult film, which was followed by several sequels and a television series. Peace has been involved in various functions at those sequels.

In 1982 he was elected to represent the Democratic Party in the California State Assembly in 1993 he moved to the Senate from California. During this time he was involved among other things, the restructuring of the state electricity system, which was later critical of the press also called Steve Peace march and death associated with the energy crisis in California from 2000 to 2001. Because of term limits, he left the Senate in 2002 and was determined by the former Governor of California Gray Davis as Chief Financial Officer of California. In 2008, he joined the law firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck.

Peace is married since 1973 and has three children.
