Steve Jobs (book)

Steve Jobs is the authorized biography of the life and work of Steve Jobs, written by Walter Isaacson. The bears the subtitle " The authorized biography of the Apple founder ." In the original English it is called simply "Steve Jobs ". The first version was released shortly after Jobs' death on October 24, 2011 Publisher Simon & Schuster, New York. The first edition in German translation was only a few days later published on 2 November 2011 at the C. Bertelsmann Verlag. Formation

In the introduction to the biography, Isaacson describes in detail how the work was created: Steve Jobs took in the early summer of 2004 the first time contact with him to talk about the creation of a biography since Isaascon had already written similar books on Albert Einstein and Benjamin Franklin. According to the company, Isaacson turned down the offer at first, because he believed that Jobs ' career would continue for a decade or two. The contact between Isaacson and Jobs got close in 2009.
