Steven E. de Souza

Steven E. de Souza ( born November 17, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American screenwriter, producer and director.

Biography

De Souza attended the Pennsylvania State University. He worked as a writer for the television series The Six Million Dollar Man, The Seven Million Dollar Woman, Knight Rider and Tales from the Crypt. In the 1980s, he wrote the screenplays of successful films such as 48 Hrs or Die Hard.

His debut as a director, he was in 1973 with the film Arnold's Wrecking Co. In 2003, he wrote the story for Lara Croft. Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life. His daughter Amy De Souza has worked as a casting assistant in the film business.
