Stewart Wood, Baron Wood of Anfield

Stewart Martin Wood, Baron Wood of Anfield, of Tonbridge in the County of Kent ( born March 25, 1968) is a British Labour Party politician, who is since 2011 member of the House of Lords.

Life

After schooling Wood holds a degree in political science and was after graduation itself as a Fellow and Tutor of political science at Magdalen College, University of Oxford operates.

In 2010 he headed the party 's internal election of Ed Miliband for the successful election of the Chairman of the Labour Party on 25 September 2010. Subsequently, he was Strategic Advisor Miliband in his capacity as Leader of the Opposition ( Leader of the Opposition) in the House of Commons.

On January 15, 2011 Woodlands was raised by a Letters Patent as a life peer with the title Baron Wood of Anfield, of Tonbridge in the County of Kent in the peerage and is a member of the House since January 18, 2011 after its introduction ( Introduction) of Lords. As such, he was appointed by Ed Miliband in the shadow cabinet of the Labour Party, and took over the office of this "shadow minister " without portfolio and opposition spokesman for the Cabinet Office.
