Still Not Getting Any ... is the second studio album by the Canadian pop - rock band Simple Plan. It was released in Germany on 2 May 2005 at Atlantic / Warner.

Creation and publication

Initial work on the album began in 2004, when Chuck Comeau and Pierre Bouvier started with the songwriting. Shortly thereafter, work began in the recording studio.

The album was released on 26 October 2004 in the United States, only on 2 May 2005, it also came out in Germany. In addition to the standard CD, a Special Edition came on the market, which additionally contains a bonus DVD.

The albums titled " Still Not Getting Any " (Eng.: We still do not get ... ) refers to the evaluation of the first album, mostly not proved positive.

The opinions of the critics were quite different, mostly the album but was viewed more negatively:

Matthias Manthe awards on a laut.de out of 5 and criticized the band and the album utmost. Among other things, the lyrics and the music are criticized. He also referred to the band as very replaceable.

Jochen Gedwien of plattentests.de 5 awards out of 10 and called the album, as something corny, in his opinion, it is for calmer hours but very well suited.

On cdstarts.de, the album 4 out of 10 points. Critic Christian Kruschel writes that the lyrics were too mediocre and there were nothing new to the album. In his opinion, the album is worth buying at most for fans of the very simple punk rock.
