Stolichnaya
Stolichnaya (Russian Столичная, German transcription: Stolichnaya ) is a vodka produced in several distilleries in Russia from cereals.
Stolichnaya is the most widely consumed vodka brand in the world and is sold worldwide ( annual output of about 15 million boxes ). The name of the vodka simply means " from the capital (Moscow) coming ," the lion's share of production is also in the Moscow Distillery Cristall ( previous owner until 1918 was Ivan Smirnov ) were prepared.
Stolichnaya is part of the Luxembourg-based SPI Group and distributed by team spirit world.
The brand name appears internationally, in Germany, in English transliteration Stolichnaya.
The label of the bottle shows a stylized drawing of the Moscow Hotel Moscow River.
Awards
Stolichnaya Vodka won a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Brussels in 1958. Shortly afterwards, he was also awarded at the Leipzig Fair in 1963 with a gold medal. Both awards still adorn the label of Stolichnaya bottles.
