The Stoličná hora (also Kvádrovec, Kvádrberk, German: Box Hill) is a table mountain in Decin ( Decin ) in the Bohemian Switzerland.
Location
The Stoličná hora rises immediately north of the town of Decin. The western flank of the mountain reaches down to the Elbe, which occurs here at Stoličná hora in her deep narrow valley incised by the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. North of the mountain is limited by the foliage gorge in which the of Ludvíkovice ( Loos village) coming Loubsky creek falls down to the river Elbe.
Located on the south side of the mountain plateau a viewpoint of the Emperor Lookout ( Císařský výhled ) is known. At the Elbe, below the steep down -reaching, rocky mountain slope is a small, belonging to Decin village Loubí is ( arbor ) and the extensive facilities of the Elbhafens Loubí. In cuboid mountain tunnel, the track of the former Austrian Northwest Railway crosses under section Decin Decin - vychod Prostřední Žleb the southwestern flank of the mountain.
History
Already in 1828 are mentioned on the cuboid, the first mountain hikes. During the development of the mountain in 1864 by Leopold Strnad the Leopoldshohe got its name. In 1870 there was the first restoration here. The silver anniversary of the Austrian Emperor and Empress in 1879 was the occasion to build on the South view a sandstone pillar, and call this point of view as to the Emperor. 1890 Pavilion of Elbwarte was built. Rest area from 1900 called Karoline rock. After 1945, the restaurant was demolished.

From the Emperor Lookout is a beautiful view over the valley of Decin possible up to the heights of the nearby Bohemian Uplands. The Emperor Lookout is one of the most beautiful views of the Bohemian Switzerland.
