Storage Networking Industry Association
The Storage Networking Industry Association, founded in 1997, is a non-profit trade association based in San Francisco. Your goal is to make as complete and trusted products in the IT area storage networks. To this end they support, technical working groups, organize the English " Storage Networking World Conference " and maintain an independent technology center in Colorado Springs in the U.S. state of Colorado.

SNIA standards:
- DDF, a vendor-independent data format for RAID systems.
- SMI -S, a vendor- independent standard for management of devices in storage area networks.
