Strathord Islands

The Strathord Islands are an uninhabited group of islands in the Salomonensee. Politically they belong to the Milne Bay Province in the southeast area of Papua New Guinea.

The islands are located about 100 km north- west of Misima and form the northernmost group of Louisiade archipelago. They are among the Bonvouloir Islands which also include the 9 km south to Hastings Iceland and East Iceland about 30 km southeast location belongs.

The main island Strathord Iceland lies on the southern Riffkranz the group is heavily wooded and flat.
