String Quintet No. 2 (Dvořák)

The Quintet in G major for 2 violins, viola, cello and double bass op.18 Antonín Dvořák wrote at the beginning of 1875 ( " completed in March " after entry in the score) in Prague. The work was on 18 March 1876 at the frame a concert of the Prague artists' association Umělecká beseda by František Ondříček and other members of the association Umělecká beseda premiered in Prague. Released in 1888, it is by Simrock in Berlin, where it was fitted with the new opus number 77.
