Strupina

Strupina ( German strops ) is a village of about 400 inhabitants in Poland in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It belongs to the municipality Prusice in powiat Trzebnicki.

History

When exactly was the current Strupina municipal law is not known, the first mention as a town dates from 1253 different sources give 1277 as the year of the city right assignment. In 1376 a church was first mentioned in the city. In 1500, the inhabitants lived mostly on agriculture and strops was one of the smallest towns in Silesia. A large fire in 1733 destroyed parts of the city. In 1816 the city became part of the Prussian district Trebnitzgrund and remained in this until 1945. After the Second World War was strops as Strupina part of Poland and lost his municipal law.

Economy and infrastructure

The village is located on the Strupina Province Road 339 ( droga wojewódzka nr 339 ) which come here from the west heading north turns. In the southwest they end after 15 kilometers in Wolów, in the north to 12 km in Żmigród. In Strupina the voivodship road beginning 342 which first leads towards the east, but turning after about three kilometers in a southerly direction, after about 15 kilometers by Oborniki Śląskie leads and then continue to the about 40 kilometers away Wroclaw.

In Breslau is with the Nicolaus Copernicus airport and the nearest international airport.
