Stu Linder

Stewart " Stu " Bridgewater Linder ( born November 8, 1931 in Geneva, Illinois, † 12 January 2006 in Ridgefield, Connecticut ) was an American editor.

Life

Stu Linder, in 1961 his work as a section Assisstent to Misfits - The Misfits began, edited from 1966 already as a freelance editor feature films.

Already his film debut, Grand Prix, was honored in 1967 with an Oscar for Best Editing. Another nomination received Linder 1989 for Rain Man.

Stu Linder married in 1981 Cathy Fitzpatrick, and had a child with her. He died 74 years old due to a heart attack.
