The Stuart River is a river in the southeast of the Australian state of Queensland.

Geography

River

The river rises on the northern slopes of Mount Kiangarow in the Bunya Mountains, part of the Great Dividing Range. From there, it flows first north-eastwards to the western outskirts of Kingaroy. There he spent his run to the northwest and flows about 18 km west of the small town Proston in the Lake Boondooma and thus into the Boyne River.

The catchment area of the river is quite small with only 65 km ² for Australian conditions.
