Stutterfly

Stutterfly was founded in 1998 initially under the name Uncle Ed's Private Jet post-hardcore band. In February 2007, the band changed its name to reluctantly Secret and Whisper due to the replacement of the front man and the resulting changes to their style of music.

Stutterfly comes from Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada, with the founding members: Chris Stickney (vocals), Jordan Chase (bass, vocals), Brady Byron (guitar, vocals), and Craig Langerud (drums). 2003 joined Jason Ciolli (guitar) from the band, in the following year took over Ryan Loerke the drums. 2006 Stickney Stutterfly left and was replaced by newly free competition, by Charles Furney. This left the band, also based in Kelowna thebleedingalarm.

Band History

From Stutterflys demo Hollow 3,000 copies were sold at their performances from the band. Broken in Pieces, the first full-length album, was released in 2002 and later re-released by the band's own label The Elysien Project.

Stutterfly has established itself on the music site MP3.com and was frequently downloaded. Thanks to the help of the Los Angeles-based Freeze Management Stutterfly closed in the summer of 2003 a contract with Madonna's Maverick Records, and later they went with Story of the Year, that stand by the same label under contract on tour.

Under the production of Ulrich Wild was born on 21 June 2005, the album And We Are Bled of Color published, which contains new versions of several Broken -in- Pieces ... pieces. There were also produced music videos for " Gun in Hand " and " Fire Whispers ".

Some time after the publication of And We Are Bled of Color Stutterfly was set by Maverick before the door when in August 2006 the frontman Chris Stickney left the band for good. Charles Furney, previously a member of thebleedingalarm occurred later in 2006.

With the new front man received a new style of music intake and thus the decision of renaming. This was announced on the band's own MySpace page on February 6. The new name Secret and Whisper was announced on February 24, 2007.
