Suburban Kids With Biblical Names

The Suburban Kids With Biblical Names (on German about " suburban kids with biblical names " ) are a band from Sweden that was founded in December 2003 in Haninge. In early 2004, she published two songs on a website that made ​​a good response from their listeners. After an interview, the band appeared in Sonic magazine and one of her songs was included on the enclosed sampler. In the same year, the band signed a record deal with the label Labrador Records. She has now yesboyicecream also contracts with the U.S. label Minty Fresh and the British label.

Early May 2006 played the Suburban Kids With Biblical Names opening for Belle and Sebastian on their Sweden tour and had therefore cancel their appearance on the pop - music fair in Leipzig. After that, the band launched their second tour through Germany, Italy and Austria. Although officially the band consists of only two members, they occur concerts with six people. Through a large number of different instruments and often undistorted played guitars as they achieve a natural, rich sound.
