Sue Monk Kidd

Sue Monk Kidd ( born August 12, 1948 in Sylvester, Georgia, United States) is an American writer.

She studied health and nursing and worked in this area. Your first steps towards writing began with an essay, which was published in Reader's Digest. Her first book, God's Joyful Surprise was published in 1988 and dealt with their spiritual experiences as a Christian.

She became famous in 2002 for her book The Secret Life of Bees ( The Secret Life of Bees ), which was filmed in 2008. Her second book The Mermaid Chair ( The Mystery of the Mermaid ) was also filmed.
