Suleiman Cassamo

Suleiman Cassamo ( born November 2, 1962 in Marracuene ) is a Mozambican writer.

Suleiman Cassamo has a degree in engineering science. As a writer, he published stories and chronicles in magazines. He is a member of the Mozambican Writers' Association ( Associação de Escritores Moçambicanos ), whose Secretary General, he was from 1997 to 1999.

He was honored in 1994 for his story O Caminho de Phati with the Prémio Guimarães Rosa by Radio France International.
