Süloğlu

Süloğlu is the name of a district town and a district in the southwestern Turkish province of Edirne. Süloğlu has 3,394 and the county of 7,628 inhabitants ( 2010). There are ten villages in the district. The county is bordered on the east by the province Kırklareli. The provincial capital of Edirne is 32 km away.

The city received in 1967 the rank of a municipality and in 1991 into an independent county. It is named after Süloğlu an Ottoman general.
