The Sulzbach Sulzbach am Main

The Sulzbach is a good 2 km long right and eastern tributary of the River Main in the Miltenberg district in the Bavarian Spessart. It arises from the confluence of the creek and unfortunately Sodener Bach.

Name

The name derives from the provision Sulzbach word sulzi from the salt water or mud, mire means and the base word bach. The brook gave the community its name Sulzbach am Main.

Geography

Headwaters

Unfortunately Bach

Unfortunately, the stream rises in the district Volker Brunn. It runs in a northwesterly direction through Leidersbach. It is about 8.4 km long and the relatively water-rich source stream.

Sodener Bach

The source of about 6.2 km long Sodener Bach, the Kaltenbrunnen, southeast of sod. The creek flows through the town and joins the east of Sulzbach am Main in the 25 -hectare nature reserve wetland meadows in Sulzbach with the Bach Unfortunately for Sulzbach.

Course

After the confluence of the headwaters of Sulzbach proceeds in two poor by the same community. It crosses where the state road in 2309 and joins the Main.
