Sun Capital Partners, Inc. is a US-based private equity firm, which specializes primarily on leveraged buyouts, debt management and other areas.

Background

Sun Capital Partners was founded in 1995 and headquartered in Boca Raton (Florida ), as well as offices in Los Angeles, New York City, London, Tokyo, Paris, Frankfurt, Shanghai and Shenzhen ( China) and employs about 200 people.

The Sun Capital affiliates have invested in over 300 companies with combined sales of over 45 billion U.S. dollars. The client funds managed by Sun Capital amounts to approximately ten billion U.S. dollars.

Investments are made and acquisitions mainly for leading companies with a turnover of 50 million up to five billion U.S. dollars (converted 30 million to three billion euros ) and more. Among the most famous holdings of Sun Capital Partners in the German-speaking part of the mail order company Neckermann, the filed 2012 bankruptcy on July 18, and in 2011 acquired retail chain Strauss Innovation, the 2014 application was submitted by a protection proceedings to avoid bankruptcy in late January.
