Sun Wei

Sun Wei (Chinese孙 炜, Pinyin Sun Wei, born September 11, 1976 in Beijing) is a Chinese baseball player.

The only 1.70 meters tall Sun Wei plays at the Beijing Tigers in the National League of China on the position of the third baseman. From 2003 to 2005, he secured the title with his team in the National League, 1997, he was with his team winning the National Games. In 1994 he was appointed to the city of Beijing and selection was from 1998 players in the national team. In April 2003, Sun was honored as Player of the Week after he had five hits (one home run, four singles ) and three RBI in the game against the Guangdong Cheetahs in eight at-bats. Sun was on his ancestral field position member of the Chinese team at the Olympic Games in 2008 and occupied with his team in eighth place.
