Baseball at the 2008 Summer Olympics
The XXIX. 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing was held a competition in baseball. On the men's tournament was attended by eight teams. Each country was allowed to set up a team of 24 players, resulting in a total number of 192 participating athletes revealed in this competition. The International Olympic Committee has decided to take baseball out of the Summer Olympic Games program in 2012. Thus, this sport was held provisionally for the last time at the Olympic Games.
