Sunan Yugur Autonomous County

The Autonomous District of Sunan Yugur (肃南 裕固族 自治县, Sù'nán Yùgùzú Zizhixian ) belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Zhangye in Gansu province. It has an area of 20,456 km ² and 40,000 inhabitants ( end of 2004).

Administrative Divisions

Sunan consists of two large communities, three municipalities and three nationality communities. These are:

  • Greater community Hongwansi (红 湾 寺镇);
  • Greater community Huangcheng (皇 城镇);
  • Community Kangle (康乐 乡);
  • Community Dahe (大 河乡);
  • Community Minghua (明 花乡);
  • Baiyin Municipality of the Mongols (白银 蒙古族 乡);
  • Mati community of Tibetans (马蹄 藏族 乡);
  • Qifeng community of Tibetans (祁 丰 藏族 乡).
