Sunnanå SK

Sunnanå SK is a football club from Skellefteå (Sweden). The club was founded on May 5, 1939.

Women's Soccer

Since 1974 there is a women's football department, which forms the sporting symbol of the club. Sunnanå SK is the only club who has participated in all seasons of the Damallsvenskan, the highest Swedish league in women's football. In the eternal table of Damallsvenskan the club occupies the sixth place. The most successful period in the club had the early eighties. 1980 and 1982 the club was Swedish champion in 1983 you won the cup competition.

The club plays its home matches at the Norrvalla Stadium. Trainer is Kenneth Isaksson. The players wear in the games blue jerseys, blue shorts and blue socks.

The men's team is clearly in the shadow of successful women - in the 2007 season one was vice-champion of the Div. Norra Norrland III and failed to Kiruna FF in the rise in the Div. II Norrland.
