Suriya Prasathinphimai

Suriya Prasathinphimai ( Thai: สุริยา ปราสาท หิน พิมาย; born April 2, 1980 in Nakhon Ratchasima ) is a Thai boxer and kickboxer. Prasathinphimai was silver medalist at the Asian Games in 2002 and bronze medalist of the 2004 Olympic Games and the Asian Championships in 2007.

Career

Kickboxing

In 2000 Prasathinphimai began with the professional kickboxing. He won it against the Japanese Masato. After another victory, he lost in 2001 against Australian John Wayne Parr. In 2003 he won after beating Arslan Magomedov, Russia, Eh Phoutong, Thailand, and Farid Villaume, France, the S1 World Championships. In the S1 World Championships the following year he lost in the first fight against Jean -Charles Skarbowsky, France, which he ended his career as a professional kickboxer.

Boxing

2002 Prasathinphimai denied his first international championships in boxing.
