History

The full history of the founding SV Lurup is very complicated and is outlined here only partially. The association comes from the ATSB ( workers' sports ). In 1933 he was zwangsfusioniert by the Nazis with the DFB FC Blau-Weiss Schenefeld. 1946, the club was re- founded as a TSV Lurup, which in 1949 was named SV Lurup and 1978, the full name SV Lurup Hamburg. By the mid- seventies, the club barely wrote successes. Only with the introduction of the stevedoring Tiedemann came as a sponsor of success. In the season 1977/78 they stood in the promotion round to the league, brought them here, however, only a single draw. In 1980, the squad with the ex- pros Detlef Spincke (Hamburger SV ), Wolfgang Kulka (FC St. Pauli ) and Harald Klimmek (HSV Barmbek- Uhlenhorst ) upgraded. In the same year it rose to the Oberliga Nord. Due to internal dispute the main sponsor Tiedemann then withdrew. Uwe Einsath, the owner of a scaffolding company, took over the command.

After the 1983/84 season one was even together with the FC St.Pauli in the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga, in which the team had, however, fairly quickly no more opportunity for advancement. Due to internal association resistance to the professionalization of the organization itself Einsath pulled them returned as a sponsor. The association increased sequentially from time to the Association League ( 5 league). 1989 it rose again in the fourth league and after the return of Uwe Einsath 1992 in the Oberliga (3rd League ) to (1st season in the Oberliga Nord 1992/93 ). Until 1997, the SV was mediocre, but could barely escape the relegation already in the 1993/94 season. At this time the club renowned coaches and players, including the Argentine Gustavo Acosta, the ex - professionals Bernd book Heister and Oliver Dittberner or coach Horst Wohlers, Willi Reimann and Dietmar Demuth fetched. Einsaths dream of the 2nd Bundesliga was not fulfilled. For some time, the association attended increasingly to youth work, and sponsor Einsath reduced its financial commitment significantly. Since 2004 to play - except for the 2007/08 season - even only in the 5th league (see Football Oberliga Hamburg).

2007/ 08 played the SV Lurup in the Oberliga Nord, although the association was able to complete the Hamburg- League just as in sixth and with a negative goal difference, as the better -placed Hamburg clubs gave up the climb. As Table Fourteenth but you could not qualify for the newly Regionalliga Nord and got down to the Oberliga Hamburg. The season 2009/10 could terminate there only as 15 and dismounted in the sechstklassige division. 2012, the club was relegated again to the Oberliga Hamburg, but was able to keep there only one season before being returned to the national league in 2013.
