SV Stegersbach

The SV Stegersbach is an Austrian football club in Burgenland Stegersbach. The club plays in the 2012/13 season in the Regionalliga Ost, the third highest league in Austria.

History

The SV Stegersbach was founded in 1929 by Adolf Neubauer innkeeper and the teachers Johann Leirer, Emmerich Matt Hauser and Kurt Large. The first big success, the Association celebrated 2003/ 04 with the rise as champion 2 League South in the fourth-rate division Burgenland. As part of a new grandstand was opened with 470 covered seats and 200 standing passengers in October 2006. 2007/ 08, the club could rise as champions of the division in the Burgenland Regional League East, but had to stay in the national league after only one year. 2010/2011 the club was champion of Burgenland League again and plays since the 2011/2012 season for the second time in the third highest league in Austria. Also in the 2012/13 season of SV Stegersbach plays in the Regionalliga Ost.
