Sven Friberg

Sven Richard Friberg ( born February 7, 1895 in Lysekil, † May 26, 1964 in Gothenburg ) was a Swedish football player.

Career

Friberg played at Örgryte IS. With the club he was twice first in the Allsvenskan. At that time the Swedish championship title was not officially awarded.

Friberg denied 1915-1926 41 caps for Sweden with the country selection, he participated in the 1924 Olympics. In the tournament he won with the team by a 3-1 win in the replay of the Netherlands the bronze medal.
