Svetlana Bolshakova

Svetlana Bolshakova (Russian Светлана Большакова, Svetlana Bolshakova; born October 14, 1984 in Leningrad, today's Saint Petersburg ) is a Belgian triple jumper Russian origin. In 2006 she married the Belgian high jumper Stijn Stroobants 2008 and therefore took the Belgian nationality. She is 1.76 meters tall.

Bolshakova was born in Saint Petersburg and represented Russia until 13 November 2008. As a teenager she won the 2001 World Junior Championships and the bronze medal at the European Junior Championships.

She took part in the 2009 World Championships, where she not reached the final. At the European Championships in 2010, she won bronze. Here, she also jumped a personal best of 14.55 m.
