Svetoslav Malinov

Svetoslav Hristov Malinow (also Svetoslav Hristov Malinov; Bulgarian Светослав Христов Малинов; born January 19, 1968 in Dupniza ) is a Bulgarian political scientist, politician, founding member of the Democrats for a Strong Bulgaria (DSB ) and European parliamentarians.

Life

Svetoslav Malinow was born in the western Bulgarian town of Stanke Dimitrov (now Dupniza ). After graduating from the English High School Geo Milew in Burgas, he studied political science at the Sofia St. Kliment Ohridski University.

After graduating (1993 ) then studied abroad in Norway ( University of Oslo ), Italy, USA, UK and Malinow received the 1996 Master's in political philosophy from the University of York. Malinow 1999 received his doctorate in the field of political conservatism in England and followed the reputation taught at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Sofia. He currently teaches history of political ideas.

Between 2001 and 2002, the department initiated Malinow Policy Analysis and the Union of Democratic Forces strategy. Since 2002 he has Chefradakteur the Journal of political theory and cultural Разум.

He was a member in 2004 of the founding members of the DSB. Between 2005 and 2007 he was a member of its Executive Board, he is Vice-Chairman since 2011.

2005 to 2009 he was a member of the Bulgarian Parliament. Since 1 December 2011, he has been a member of the EU Parliament. He belongs to the Group of the European People's Party.
