Swami Veda Bharati

Swami Veda Bharati, (real name: Usharbudh Arya, born 1933 in Dehradun, India), is a Hindu spiritual teacher.

The age of nine, he should have informed the Yoga Sutras and the Vedas. Before one of the closest disciples of his Guru Rama in 1968, he worked for many years as a Sanskrit professor in the United States. He continues the tradition of his guru and traveled to all parts of the world. As a spiritual director, he directs the Sadhana Mandir Trust in Rishikesh, North India, and is for people worldwide spiritual teacher.

Veda Bharati is the author of numerous books, including a commentary on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali; he founded meditation centers in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.
