Swell an indie band formed in 1989 in San Francisco.
Band History
After recruiting a second guitarist John Dettman and bassist Monte Vallier, the band recorded a self-titled album and brought it on their own label Psycho -Specific out in April 1990. David Freel has published in recent years under the name Be my Weapon an album. According to his own statements, he considers whether there appears an album under the name Swell.

Swell 's influences range from Neo -Psychedelic Noise Pop over to Ennio Morricone.
