Åšwiemino
Świemino [ ɕfjɛminɔ ] ( German Schwemmin ) is a village in the rural community Biesiekierz, Koszaliński powiat, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in northwestern Poland.
Geographical location
Świemino is located about 19 km south-west of Koszalin, and 117 km south-west of Stettin (Polish Szczecin), the capital of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Population
2008 Świemino had 260 inhabitants.
History
From 1872 to 1945, the principality was formerly part of the circle associated Schwemmin to Pomerania in the administrative region of Pomerania, who belonged to the Prussian province of Pomerania. Since 1945, the place Świemino belongs to the Republic of Poland.
