Sydney Gun-Munro

Sir Sydney Douglas Gun - Munro (* November 29, 1916; † 1 March 2007 Bequia ), GCMG, FRCS, was a politician in the Caribbean state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Career

Gun - Munro was from 1976 to 1979 last governor of the British colony from 1979 to 1985 and first Governor-General in the independent state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He represented there at that time Queen Elizabeth II as head of state.
