The Sydney Sports Ground was a stadium in Sydney, Australia. The stadium consisted of two large grandstands and used as a platform mound and had a capacity of over 35,000 spectators. It was demolished in 1986 to provide for the same place newly built Sydney Football Stadium Course, which opened in 1988.

Mainly the Sports Ground was used as the venue for home games of rugby league team founded in 1908 Eastern Suburbs. In addition, the stadium football matches and 1930-1960 also various boxing matches were held. So here fought among others, the Australian boxer Jack Carroll, Ron Richards and Jimmy Carruthers. Some of the Sports Ground was also used for speedway races, with 1937-1955 a total of 12 riders died in accidents on the railway.

In 1938, Sports Ground, the British Empire Games were held in Sydney. 1981 was the stadium as the venue for several games the Junior World Cup.
