Sylvain Calzati

Sylvain Calzati ( born July 1, 1979 in Lyon, France ) is a French cyclist in the team AG2R Prévoyance.

Calzati part of the starting field of the Tour de France 2005. He has been a professional since 2003. Previously, he drove in the teams Jean Delatour (2002), Barloworld (2003), octospiders (2004), TOWERS Semences - MG rover ( 2004).

His athletic achievements were winning the Route du Pays Basque ( FRA ) and 2004 of the victory in the overall standings of the Tour de l' Avenir ( FRA ) 2002. 2006 he also won the eighth stage of the Tour de France.

End of the 2011 season, he will finish his career as a professional cyclist.

Calzati is married and has one daughter.
