Synedrion

Sanhedrin or Sanhedrim ( συνέδριον; approximately: Community cooperation Sitting / session) designated an ancient Greek advisory and decision-making body ( council ).

A Sanhedrin could both Symmachien as the Corinthian Federation and on poleis, but also for non-governmental tasks responsible (for example, in the voluntary sector or in the religious sphere, see amphictyony ).
