The Eparchy of Pathanamthitta (Latin: Eparchia Pathanamthittensis ) is a located in India Eparchy of the Syro- Malankara Catholic Church based in Pathanamthitta, Kerala.
History
The Eparchy of Pathanamthitta was January 25, 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI. built out of territory of Großerzbistums Trivandrum and this assumed as suffragan. First bishop was Yoohanon Chrysostom Kalloor.
The Eparchy of Pathanamthitta collected only the Syro -Malankara Catholics in the area. The there is also resident Catholics of the Latin Rite and the Syro -Malabar rite belong to other dioceses.
