Taftanaz

Taftanaz (Arabic تفتناز, Taftanāz DMG ) is a small town and the chief town of a district in the north- west Syria, in Idlib province.

Taftanaz located 17 km north-east of Idlib on the road to Aleppo. Its population is about 15,000. Especially cotton is grown in the fields around.
