Tahmoh Penikett

Tahmoh Penikett ( born May 20, 1975 in Whitehorse, Yukon ) is a Canadian actor.

Family and Education

His British -born father Tony Penikett was Prime Minister of the Canadian Yukon Territory (1985-1992, New Democratic Party ). His mother, Lulla Sierra Johns is one of the White River First Nation on the same territory. Penikett's grandmother named him after a maternal uncle, who was a hunter and trapper on the border between the Yukon Territory and Alaska. He has two sisters, twins Sarah and Stephanie. Penikett lives like his sisters and his father in Vancouver, Canada.

Penikett is a graduate of Yukon College of the Department of Music, Art and Representation (English Music Art Drama Program). Later he studied at the Victoria Film School in British Columbia and Vancouver 's Lyric Theatre.
