Tahpanhes, Tahapanes, Tahaphnehes (also Tachapanches, Tachapanes ), now Tell Defenneh, is the Biblical name of an ancient Egyptian town in the eastern Nile Delta and was about 22 miles from Pelusium am See Manzala.
