Taimyr Air Company

North Star is a Russian airline based in Norilsk and base on the Norilsk airport. It is as well Nordavia a subsidiary of MMC Norilsk Nickel.

History

The airline was founded by several local investors took flight operations on 16 June 2009 with 3 acquired from Sterling Airlines and TUIfly Boeing 737-800. In 2010, an agreement was in addition to the acquisition of two additional Boeing 737-800, also from the holdings of the TUIfly, drawn with the Russian KrasAvia also, with the establishment of a common carrier is provided which is to resume flight operations from Krasnoyarsk from 2011.

Destinations

Currently, North Star serves many destinations in attractive tourist spots such as Tivat in Montenegro or Hurghada and Sharm el- Sheikh in Egypt on charter flights. In addition, some Russian domestic routes are served in scheduled operations.
