Tak Fujimoto

Takashi " Tak " Fujimoto ( born July 12, 1939 in San Diego ) is an American cinematographer.

Life

Fujimoto had visited the University of Berkeley and can get training at the London Film School. Then he turned as a camera assistant for the company of colleagues Haskell Wexler, ' Dove Films', commercials, before joining in 1973 for the movie. There he worked as a cameraman for Terrence Malick's easier road movie Badlands - divided with bullet-riddled dreams when he had to replace the diseased cinematographer Brian Probyn.

In the aftermath Fujimoto worked with directors like Jonathan Demme, M. Night Shyamalan, John Hughes, and Howard Deutch. He is a member of the American Society of Cinematographers. For The Silence of the Lambs 1992, he was nominated for an ASC Award. A nomination for the BAFTA Award he received in 2000 for his work on The Sixth Sense.
