The nuclear power plant Takahama (Japanese高 浜 発 电 所, Takahama hatsudensho ) is a nuclear power plant in Japan. It is north west of the town Takahama located in Fukui Prefecture. The power plant has four blocks, the oldest went into operation in 1975.

The operator is the electric utility Kansai Denryoku. The gross capacity of the pressurized water reactors is for the first two reactors 826 MW and for the two newer reactors 870 MW.

On 15 January 2007, the news agency Kyodo News and AP reported a smaller incident in block 1 There are 370 liters of slightly radioactive water leaked, four employees had been splattered. Your health is, however, unaffected. In Takahama are four pressurized water reactors from Mitsubishi.
