Takebe Kenko

Takebe Katahiro (Japanese建 部 贤 弘; * 1664 in Edo, Japan, † August 24, 1739 ibid ), also Takebe Kenko ( the Sino- Japanese reading of his name ), was a Japanese mathematician of the Wasan and pupil of Seki Takakazu.

He further developed the Enri (円 理, dt "circle principle " ) and calculated in 1723 the county number to 41 -digit precision.
