Talas, Turkey

Talas is a district in the center of the province of Kayseri in central Anatolia in Turkey. Chief town of the district is the city of Talas. District ( Kaymakam ) of the county is Salih Bıçak. The district of Talas had in 2000 60.925 inhabitants, according to the statistics of 2008, there were 81 399 inhabitants.
