Tales from the Cryptkeeper
Tales from the Crypt (English Tales from the Cryptkeeper for Season 1 and 2 and New Tales from the Cryptkeeper for season 3) is an American animated television series, which, like the parallel emitted Real series, on the eponymous comic book series from the 1950s years is based. The primary target group for this adaptation are children, while it is a horror production for adults in the real series.
The series was canceled after only two seasons on 10 December 1994 but should be continued on October 2, 1999, a new third season under the title New Tales from the Crypt.
Action
The old fogy ( in the U.S. version Crypti or Cryptkeeper ) tells the audience in each episode one or two horror stories, which, however, in contrast to those from the real series, always with a happy ending and a moral point, such as " judge others never " ending after their appearance " or " He who digs a pit for others. ...
While Grufti tells these stories in the first season alone, he will be held in the second season mostly from the horror witch ( in the U.S. version Old Witch ) and the Vault -Keeper thereof, so that these two can tell their own stories.
In the third season a completely different style of animation for the series was used, the horror Witch, and the Vault -Keeper was removed from the series and Grufti mingled actively in his stories a while in the first two seasons only as narrator reproduced.
