The film Tales from the Vienna Woods was born in 1979, directed by Maximilian Schell. The film is based on the play Tales from the Vienna Woods by Odon von Horvath.

Action

Marianne, the daughter of the "magic king " ( owner of a toy shop ) is, at its request, with Oskar, a meat pick grater seater together, she does not really love. In the engagement she meets Alfred, know a young Strizzi, but which is only interested in women, money and horse racing betting. This has just separated from Valerie, a tobacconist. Marianne ends up in the "Maxim", a famous night club in Vienna, where she must pose half naked in the so-called " living pictures". A guest who offers her money so she sleeps with him, pushes her under the theft of his wallet when she rejects his offer. The Magic Kingdom, which is present as a guest also in "Maxim" and learns that his own daughter was arrested there because of the alleged theft, suffers from excitement to a stroke that paralyzed him on one side. After his release from prison Marianne versa desperately back to her parents' house.
